Took a short position in COMS today. The bottom line is earnings are gonna send it sub-30's short term. Sure, it'll be a $50 stock next year, but I won't be short next year. I'll be long gone before Dec. 19 (earnings date). Was looking to get in short today, and was glad to see the rally to get me in at a higher price. Forget the 56K modem, you think all the buyers that rallied it today are gonna be around next year when they might start showing some profits from this modem?? Nope. Bottom line is earnings - beat estimates or take a beating (especially in this volatile market). Jeff
