Will history repeat itself? It is almost a sure thing now… This is not the first time we’ve seen tensions rise as government manipulations, cons, and cover-ups become common. Historically we have always seen events that suddenly transform the mass consciousness of the people, usually as a result of a stand taken by a few.

If you identified with students who were shot at Kent State as ‘your people,’ you were outraged and likely started protesting on campuses as many of us did across the nation at that time. How about the Boston Massacre, the Sand Creek Massacre, My Lai Massacre, etc.? At what point do we turn against a government bent on taking power from the people.

Do you want to be part of the Empire or fight for something real? Re-read ‘Common Sense’ by Thomas Paine.

In England a king hath little more to do than to make war and give away places; which in plain terms, is to impoverish the nation and set it together by the ears. A pretty business indeed for a man to be allowed eight hundred thousand sterling a year for, and worshipped into the bargain! Of more worth is one honest man to society and in the sight of God, than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived.

—Thomas Paine

Since before the Vietnam War until now our leaders have been bent on selling out America for personal power and influence; first they made war to gain power and influence and sold out our principled interests, now they are selling off our economic interests. And now what will Americans stand for?

The cause of freedom never dies.
