Freddy Glavis was the most joyous(his first walkoff HR ever) and right behind him in joy was Cliff Lee:
Petitbone, keeps looking like MLB pitcher: the difference between him and Tyler Cloyd, his top speed is 5 miles faster than Cloyd. Phils keep fighting collapsing into lost season--21-23 when we have had about one Laugher and oppostion about 8 laughers against us. It seems it's all nailbiting with are wins.
Howard to get MRI on his knee today--if Howard goes on disabled list i think we will call up Darin Ruf to play first base. Fans i believe want Delmon Young benched, and have Ruf in left and Brown in RF. A Philly.Com fan poll "Do you think Ruf should be called up now?" The response was 87% yes(he has learned to play LF.)

The idea that NL-East or NL-West would be the dominate divison has been blown up The NL-Central has a hot Cardinals/Pirates and Reds.
Cleveland Indians are now the surprise team in MLB. Since 7-13 start they have been 18-4.
Howard came to Manuel and said he couldn't play, and fessed up, his knee has been sore for sometime.
O yes, i see Galvis as a mainstay for years to come, imHo.

After his most recent pounding/8 runs in 3 innings Twins have sent Vance Worley to minor leagues:he started the season as #1 in their rotation

Minnesota Twins demote Opening Day starter Vance Worley

ATLANTA -- The Twins gave Vance Worley 10 starts to find his groove. On Wednesday, they finally ran out of patience.

The Twins optioned their Opening Day starter to Triple-A Rochester after he was shelled for eight runs on 10 hits in an 8-3 loss to the Atlanta Braves. Three of the hits were homers, including a grand slam by rookie sensation Evan Gattis.

It was the Twins' eighth straight loss as they were swept to start a three-city road trip that continues Thursday at American League Central-leading Detroit.

"We're looking for performance here," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said. "We got him in a trade. We need performance. You've seen what's happened here (consecutively) with our starters. We needed him to step up, and it didn't work out."

Worley, 25, fell to 1-5 with a 7.21 earned-run average after lasting just 3 2/3 innings at Turner Field. He was coming off a six-inning outing against the Boston Red Sox in which he held them without an earned run, but that was one of just three quality starts he has made since joining the Twins.

Acquired with Double-A right-hander Trevor May in an offseason trade that sent popular outfielder Ben Revere to the Philadelphia Phillies, Worley has allowed eight of his nine home runs over his past five starts.
