Al, you're only confirming what I just said. Obama wants no part in the clean-up. Just leave that to guys like Pickering and McMullen.

You thought the distinction between the White House and the State Dept. was an important one, but I don't. All of this reflects poorly on Obama, and to absolve him of any responsibility is silly. "Yes, Obama was a great president, but the State Dept. really sucked on his watch."
