<<albeit I am looking for authentic company press releases. >>

i found this very amusing, you can count on one hand the number of press releases from APM for this year. i hope you're not looking too hard,

Mike

I think Pierre, while making an honest post, read a little into that one. WDC was very careful about the statements made, and I suspect they needed to be as lawsuits could be started over negative comments about another companies operations.

For the record, I recently sold my APM at a significant loss, so I wouldn't at all be surprised if it's hit bottom. I'm not sophisticated enough to short or trade options, so I just buy stocks that I think will go up about 50 to 100% over the next 6 months to a year and sell them when I no longer believe that. I did buy RDRT, however, when I felt that they were in a better position for appreciation due to my assumption that they have most of the MR transition costs behind them and will more quickly show improved earnings than APM.
I do have respect for Crisman and the way he has managed APM, even if he did miscalculate on the TFI potential. I don't completely agree with those who feel misled by his comments last quarter. As I've said before, in re-reading them, I don't find them inconsistent with events as they transpired, though I can understand why everyone felt optimistic after hearing them. Next time, I'll avoid reading my optimistic expectations into such statements.
