Tax policy in the US is a DISGRACE and it ONLY benefits the asswipes in congress, the white house and the army of lobbyists in Washington DC. It should have been simplified generations ago but a simple tax policy makes it IMPOSSIBLE to STEAL WEALTH for personal gain without working hard via special interest concessions. It begins with a bloated military budget and a permanent state of war then goes all the way to those on food stamps and disability who get money without having to pick up trash or work in schools that desperately need more resources.
