Where is the Hatch Act?

We have a Union of Government employees participating in the election process through election fund campaigns, and meeting with the president prior to elections in violation of the Hatch Act.

Why isn’t someone being arrested?

He paid Jones a $900k settlement for sexually harassing her, and the Broaddrick case was not pursued by Arkansas prosecutors.

The Lewinsky affair was absolutely sexual harassment. It doesn't matter that she was willing. What matters is the power differential. What matters is that he sexualized young female interns. This creates a hostile work environment for other young women in his employ. It may not have been illegal to bang Monica, but it certainly was wrong.

Facts are facts but they are only useful to partisans when they are filtered as to their benefit to the party, which is also a fact, a one-off fact.

A one-off fact is that Clinton was believed to be good for the far Left Wing of the Democrat party. Lots of Independents, including me, supported him when he ran for office but not because we thought he would be good for the Left Wing, we just believed it was time to put some of the ideas he represented into action. He was also able to reach across to many Rs and get support for his platforms.

Even though I was aware of the fact that Clinton may be able to bolster the Democrat Party or cause harm to the Republican party, it did not concern me a whit. Whether or not the Republican party is able to harm the Democrat party by exploiting the facts of Clinton’s disgraceful character flaws does not influence me either.

Those on the extreme Right Wing had an agenda to replace him with a conservative leader. That's a fact. Of course that was obvious. So Hillary’s dramatic declaration of a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy had the ring of truth and a resonance with the common folk, that gave us pause, until you think about what that statement really means. Isn’t every Political group in cahoots in their schemes to defeat their opponents? Uh yah, they are.

That is how facts in partisan politics are employed. There is the fact which is fine and true on its own, then there is a fact about the benefit or harm that fact may bring to the party. The latter of which is one step off the source fact.

The facts which are not one-off in this case and which drove many who had been supporters to reject his leadership are these: Clinton was a philandering perp who hurt the women he had relations with. He not only abused his authority to hurt women, he was a liar who attempted to involve his supporters in a collusion of corruption. It is a fact that Clinton used the authority of office to abuse and exploit women in vulnerable positions, then smeared them with lies, intimidation and threats to destroy their lives. There are dozens of credible people who have corroborated the facts surrounding his abuses of women, from within Clinton's inner circle, not a single RWer among them. That's a fact. And you enable/support such corruption.

Other facts exist about his criminal behavior which caused him to be disbarred and impeached.

The one-off fact that you keep promoting is the there is no record of criminal convictions for every fact we know to be true about his brutality and abuses; which is one-off because it supports your need to exhibit party loyalty even though it ignores the truth about Clinton’s misdeeds.

Another one-off fact is that people of conscience (like me) do not dismiss the truth for the sake of partisan loyalties.

Tejek = Its ok, because the party will take care of me.
