Kemble, according to the NY Times (Friday, Dec 5), Clinton is weighing the possibility of a tax reduction. He warned against spending a budget surplus that does not yet exist. According to the NY Times article Clinton " ... said he would consider proposing a tax-cutting measure next year if he were persuaded that it was fair to the average taxpayers, good for the economy, and would lead to a simpler Federal tax code."

I know you bear a certain animus towards the man, but you ought to give the devil his due.
