The two are not similar. Writing a bad check is a criminal act, not a civil one. You are trying to compare apples to oranges. If you wrote the check, then you wrote the check. They did not write a check. What they did has nothing to do with writing checks-it is entering the country illegally. Not the same thing. Like saying you wrote the check, and its the exact same thing as being sued from a car accident. The two are not the same. However...how is it that no one can understand here that the borders do need to be secured, but we also have to find a solution to those already here? A SANE solution.
