Hi, MARC...oK, JMO- Towards end of May: Big Boys were heavy sellers and sold the stock short; last Tues of May, street rumor that INTC will tank on Fri, May 30th... June thru Mid-July: Big Boys covered and accumulated stock (and then the split) when the price was advance to where it was at end of May (160++); End of July thru Aug 20th: Start of distribution and the price was advanced up to 100++ post-split; If you get my drift and have access to historical prices, pls start your price and volume study from Monday after option expiration to subsequent month's 3rd Fri which is options expiration day. You might see a pattern of accumulation/distribution. When I said big time accumulation, it has something to do with MMs long-term capital gain planning which started on May 5th this year..hope this helps.
