Certainly Clinton had the power..........but Lewinsky was an LA woman from a well off family. People in LA grow up faster than the rest of the country...............take a walk down on Melrose Ave and you will see a ton of middle class 11 and 12 year olds in full make up, body piercings and tats. Its the nature of the beast. Lewinsky wasn't coerced into have sex with Clinton.......she had it willingly. She wanted to be close to Clinton.....that's one of the reasons she had her daddy get her a job as an intern.

Bullshit, I live in L.A. and I have never seen an 11 or 12 year old with body piercings and tats. Further, the vast majority of 11 and 12 year old middle class kids are probably more innocent than the country folks that you refer to so often. I have a 13 year old, so I am not looking from the outside in.....this is a major focus of my life. And you are making shit up to try to prove your point. FAIL!

And btw when told about Clinton getting a BJ from Lewinsky, a friend in LA turned to me and said that's not adultery. At the time he was around 30......not a kid. He grew up in LA. That's the way LA rolls.

As much as men want to believe this, myself included, there isn't a married woman in the world who would agree.

She was not a girl. She was an adult of 23. Once again, your misogyny bleeds thru.

When I was 23, I was convinced that I was a full fledged adult. I look back at who I was at 23, and where I had the rights and responsibility of an adult, I am quite aware that I lacked good judgement that comes with maturity. I was still a kid. Kids do stupid things. They are supposed to. To believe that there is no difference between a 23 year old woman and a 50 year old man is beyond naive.

Yeah, just how you all don't see your racism as racism. That's the only bizarre in this exchange.

How did we get to racism?

Grown up?!? ...

Messed up not grown up.

Being sexualized as a pre-teen who is incapable of taking on adult responsibility is not being grown up.

e-gads tejek

A mature woman is strong and respectful, with a positive sense of self-worth. She is humble in her feminine strengths, enabling her to diffuse situations where others may be tempted to lash out. She is confident and secure, refusing to cause unnecessary stress to herself or her relationships based on false pretenses. She is not ashamed to express herself sexually with her husband, while she is strong enough to forbid others attempts to exploit her sexuality. She is able to motivate others to be their best and to seek success, without degrading negative pushes. She has a forgiving heart, demonstrating empathy and understanding not punishing of people she shares a life with. She is able to give and take in supportive and supported roles. She is a gentle person who is attentive and responds to others with grace, while taking the struggles of life by the tail and authoring her own tale. No wilting, withering, victim of society, preening and prancing in despiration as you describe... no sirree.

>> Once again, your misogyny bleeds thru

I don't know what better evidence of misogyny there is than some fool who thinks the very presence of a man in a woman's hotel room constitutes an open invitation to sex.
