I agree with what you say -- It is never wise to get the tippy-top of the run -- OTOH -- it can be equally disastrous to pick tops -- I still try sometimes, e.g. -- but only with very short leashes. Re mining equities -- back in W's watch they ran contrary as the market tanked for a good while. The sector has been beat to sh*t -- it can collapse by half again with the rest -- sure it is possible. [I'll be short when a turn is confirmed ... don't have to get the "big one-day collapse."]
