re china: great post. china will break the hong kong dollar peg, finish the collapse of hong kong and force businesses to move to shanghai and to red-chips at shanghai exhange, it is a carefully executed plan. we will see big kahuna when the peg is broken, I think it is inevitable. china wants to break taiwan, too. china still provides free housing for most of its citizens so housing for foreigners was usually financed thru hong kong banks. bankruptcies ahead.
