Then she refused to answer lawmakers' further
questions, citing her Fifth Amendment
right not to
incriminate herself.

That seems like a contradiction and misapplication of the 5th. Pleading the 5th is admitting that personal wrong doing would be exposed under testimony.

She remained adamant that she wouldn't answer questions or testify on advice of her counsel, which seems like contempt.

She was told she would be recalled after the issue had been given more consideration, so I will be interested to see where this leads.
