<<Terrible news for Microprose (MPRS), in my opinion. I've studied this industry for a while... Message 2891021;

You know I have heard it all but it's been quite some time since I have read such unadulterated BS then what I read in this article. How anyone can make a claim that a merger investigation is the blame for slipped or missed product release schedules is beyond me. Not only that but to blame their upcoming losses on this deal is a disingenuous like I bet and they know it. Anyone who has worked in the business world knows that yes, merger investigations do cost money but I've never known one that stopped or inhibited normal engineering and product release activity. MPRS is using this as a scapegoat for their own inability to turn their company around. Don't be surprised if it was GT that killed the deal! As you can see this irritates me no end.
Their peddling of this bogus contention that they somehow have experienced "dislocation" due to this deal is preposterous.
