I'm a bit out of touch on that topic. I was surprised recently when I asked my buddy (GM director level) about inventory and he just shrugged his shoulders. He basically said it's been going on for years now, so not a concern.

He is right. It's been going on for years.

Funny you should mention that ... there are some vacant lots near where I work which haven't ever had anything in them, and suddenly the past couple of seeks, they are full of new cars from nearby dealerships.
