Well rat, why don't you try too put together more than one sentence in your own words to explain what you find outside of simple common sense and true use of science in my post.

LOL... Ten miles up. First those winds are horizontal. Horizontal velocity has no meaning in the Signature Chart. The axis of the chart are latitude and altitude. east and west are at the same latitude.

Also at 10 miles, 16 KM 90% of the CO2 in the atmosphere is shielding, or blocking or reflecting the long wave radiation so it ends up in space, not back on the earth.

This chart show kPa vs altitude. kPa is pressure and pressure is proportional to density. density is mass per unit volume. 90% of the mass of the atmosphere is below 10 miles. 90% of the CO2 is below 10 miles.

Any heat in the air there has 90% less blocking greenhouse gasses above than below.
