Sorry wharfy, Science won't tell you a lot of things and has no mandate to:

1) Tell you which bank account should be confiscated.
2) Replace the Constitution or give you the right to push your weight around.

Even if all the alarmist scientists were right the government would still not have a mandate to bankrupt the country and the world fighting it.

Confiscation, from the Latin confiscatio 'joining to the fiscus, i.e. transfer to the treasury' is a legal seizure without compensation by a government or other public authority
