You would be making the attackers hundreds of times more powerful.

"Good then you should get rid of the restrictions on gun
ownership by law abiding citizens who save lives in about 400 cases per year
when defending themselves and others against a mortal attack, and likely
multiples of that number in cases where they don’t have to kill the violent
attacker to stop the attack"

That argument pales in comparison to the
11,000 who are murdered by gun every year.....

And yes, I would change
the gun laws and make them far more restrictive.....

Your laws would not remove guns from these criminals on the street ... and you know it.
FBI statistics>
In Los Angeles, over 95% of arrest warrants issued for the crime of murder are
for illegal aliens. At least 83% of arrest warrants for murder in Phoenix are
for illegal aliens. The number climbs to 86% for Albuquerque. The most wanted
lists for each of these cities is comprised of at least 75% illegal aliens.

If you could save just one life would you want to change gun laws? No it doesnt since your murderers are mostly criminals slaughtering their enemies compared with my law abiding citizens who use guns responsibly.

We don’t seem to be collecting data about criminals who commit murder other than their race or gender. However, the Sheriffs seem to be fairly consistent in reporting that it is not the law abiding decent citizen who is responsible. You should listen to them (54 sheriffs in Colorado are sueing over new state gun restrictions). "This lawsuit is for your rights and for your safety," Weld County Sheriff John Cooke said. "These bills do absolutely nothing to make Colorado a safer place to live, to work, to play or to raise a family. Instead these misguided, unconstitutional bills will have the opposite effect because they greatly restrict the right of decent, law-abiding citizens to defend themselves, their families and their homes."

"This isn't good public policy. These are really awful bills. They are unenforceable and encourage disrespect for the law," Cooke added.

California was named as the state with the strongest gun control laws in 2011 by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. California also had 1220 gun murders in 2011 with the vast majority of those occurring in the urban areas of southern California.

In 2011, Utah, the state that the Brady Campaign determined had the least gun control, experienced just 26 gun murders.

We do know where the left wing voters are concentrated, and it is no wonder you are concerned about murders. You seem to be shooting yourselves and each other. then oddly holding conservatives responsible.
