Market cap now stands at $2.8 billion.

Let's see...

You can buy JBIL (a momentum stock which fell from 72 to 43) and have $1.2 billion left over. You also get $1 billion is sales and $50 million in earnings.

You can buy AFCI (a momentum stock which fell from 43 to 28) and have $750 million left over. You also get $230 million in sales and $30 million in earnings...not to mention a more impressive growth rate than Yahoo.

You can buy half of ASND (a momentum stock which fell from 80 to 28). You also get $1 billion in sales and $150 million in earnings.

Without a doubt, yahoo is the most expensive stock I have seen in a very long time by any valuation metric. Bullsh$$t hype about this company has driven it to levels which are unsustainable.

I don't know Bill, I never thought AMZN would get to $66 either. At that point that one bookseller was getting very close to the market cap of all the Barnes and Noble stores! YHOO has been very kind to me in comparison.

Agree with most of what you said. I have begun to short YHOO today and will continue to short more if its price goes up. Last time I checked my account, only when YHOO rise to more than $400 will I get market call so I am pretty safe. I do agree with you that YHOO should be traded in the 30s in the first half next year. I am not sure when, though. Also I think that it will rise higher in the next several weeks which gives me a great opportunity to load up more. I have made money by longing YHOO in the past but the price is getting ridiculous compared with its fundamentals. I am also wondering how long can the inter-market trader supports this baby.
