Taht may be, but the Co. he works for makes most of their profits on cheating customers on interest rate differentials, etc.

And, that's teh reason banks and brokers make money at times. i new abroker who chargd margin interest on short balance, that is, they charge you ~8% interest for the privelege of accepting your money for deposit. Instead of paying you 5%. That 13% on customers' money with absolutley no risk to them, no capital requirement, etc. is what keeps them in business.
