I am not impressed by any of them left or right.

I can't remember being excited about a candidate since I was 7 years old and started hearing about Jack Kennedy; then, when I was 18, and heard I could vote for McGovern to defeat Nixon, so I got all excited and went to the booth for the first time...not knowing the fix was in until I heard about Watergate when it was too late. Since then I have been picking a third party candidate who I believed would take a conscientious stand on any measure coming before them. What will I ever win doing that? Nothing but I will preserve my good conscience. You just don't find those people in the major parties.

One cowboy who has stepped up to challenge the supposedly untouchable Governor of Colorado is Tom Tancredo. Tancredo has had a lot of conflict with the Republican Party Leadership. He pisses me off sometimes too but if his run gets any momentum, that would be exciting. Its a long shot but he's the genuine article. Stubbornly committed to speaking out and doing the right thing, whether the party supports him or not.
