GOLD..which way does it go? Up or down. A pnf chart will show a wedge. Which way will it break?

Will it be 1480-1540? or will it be 1334/1220? Regardless 1556 is the number I watch..

Here and now I'd be leaning we go up towards or to 1480/1512 for the yellow stuff. Until that 1556 is hit though. 1334-1220 remain as a possible.

All to say have fun trading it. Just don't go all in for the 3000 until it's near term is resolved. Unless one doesn't mind sizing in lower.

It takes time to work thru technical damage. I don't see this one being any different given the fast and furious collapse to the 1335 area. The bounce off lows were expected. Here and now after weeks we will soon see if those bounces and retraces are real. Push it to 1556 and I'm a believer. UNTIL. ZZZZZ I can see other places to get the oooomph that a 10% move at this moment in a commodity or index can provide.

ALL...IMHO

oops that GOLD post was meant for another. Re Japan. HMM so my question is: there are those who say we are a world community and can't we get along. Then there are those who say we are not and who cares about Japan it's way over there to the EAST.. HMM

I'm getting confused. SMILE

Yet this I do know, Just as damage done here had ripple effects seen across that world back in 2008. So too when there's a tsunami over in Japan in 2011 we are still seeing debris showing up on the shores of the west coast to this time line. There have also been economic concerns. And of course there were Technical concerns back in 2008-2009 and again in 2011. So does Japan matter? To many NOPE.. To me? YUP.

To what extent? That is to be determined and why we place our bets.

I've been buying the SQQQ in the low 26 area.. I'm buying PUTS in the SPY with TIME. I've been buying spx puts with TIME. I'm about to buy the spxu at X.. OH and I have NEVER bought PUTS until recently. OH OH.

I have NOT sold any core. I still believe 1944/2430/2912 are coming for the SPX.

Yet!!! I have no problem with corrections whether it be a stock or index.

IMHO.
