Even if this were true, it's largely irrelevant since the only real focus is that agave takes longer to metabolize, this is the main key to the reason why it's so far down of the glycemic index... the entire substance can be fully and completely metabolized and digested WITHOUT effecting the blood sugar level... this is what's important, not how much fructose it contains...

The level of fructose is not the concern, it's how the body reacts to it... dog shit contains no fructose, but it doesn't mean it's healthier for you...
