I'm not sure how aggressive portfolio managers will be with SGI for the remainder of 1997. What manager wants SGI stock on the books at Dec. 31 with all the bad press. I think were seeing lots of selling for tax reasions too.

The new year should bring renewed interest in SGI stock at these lows. I'm hoping anyway.

Larry, I second Robert's comment's about tax selling and fund manager's reluctance to buy. Perhaps this recent move up is some really bright managers jumping in while maybe others must wait thirty days to get back in? Or is SGI doing the buying? The thing is, if the company makes it the stock is an absolute steal at these prices. Don't you agree?

A good pick for CEO could get the stock to 19, I think. That's where it fell to after the bad news in October. Anything higher will take lots of earnings. A number of high profile folks got burned recently and won't delve to take another shot that would really make them look stupid. Of course there are alot of other folks that might jump in this time around.

Caveat Emptor.
