I can't fault your neighbors, they saw a great deal when they saw it and took advantage albeit with risks if CA can't pay. It's no different than making a killing on a stock or commodity to somebody else's detriment. Everybody should know the risks but these CA politicians over the past 30 years have been really stupid. CA elects people they like and think are friendly and nice when you really need technocrats to keep stupidity in check.
