I thought 32K was about right. At least half were Yankee fans. There were whole sections empty in the outfield and even where I sat (behind home plate upper deck) there were lots of empty rows. It's a AAA line up with the exception of Wright and Murphy. Even Niese is a better hitter than the other 6 guys in the line up.

You could have bought a ticket on Stub Hub for $20 (including all fees). Mets are charging $60.

Tejada is a disaster. Duda is a farce. Ike belongs in a mental institution. Baxter got cut by the Pades. Ankiel got cut by the Astros. Byrd should be retired. Valdespin belongs in Harlem with the home boys.

Collins got to go. Why didn't he pinch hit for Duda in the 8th with Boone Logan pitching. Why not put Byrd in to pinch hit. Duda never hits in the clutch. Logan is a lefty specialist. Duda was going to get replaced in the 9th for defense anyway.
