Each series becomes unique, takes on a life of it's own.
Although some stat's stay consistent throughout the chase.
Detroit for instance has given up something like 20 goals
in the 3rd period....crazy isn't it.

LA/SJ first person to score wins every game as well as home ice.

Home ice this year dominant, whereas the past few years it
didn't matter, that tells me regardless of who appears to be
playing better with each series everything changes.....

You picked the Leafs and they should've beaten Boston, but
the Leafs thought they had won the series with only 58 minutes
played, fatal. Then against the Rangers a team which looked and
played as they were in cement, Boston young D changed everything
and Tort couldn't figure it out.

Speed is everything in the NHL and the Hawks can stay with
anybody in that regard...It' why the Isles gave the Pen's a hard time
