Dave, I spoke today to CFO of INVX. I originally planned to call to Monday but realized I will be in a seminar on Monday and Tuesday. I asked him about stock buyback or selling naked puts on INVX. He said that was not in the plans right now. He said they had other uses for their excessive cash which will benefit shareholders. On November 4 INVX guided analysts to expect growth of 20-25% for 1998. He said he felt more comfortable with the 20% growth level considering what was happening in the disk drive industry currently. He was presently comfortable with the 48 cents earnings forecast for this quarter. Earnings estimates are now forecast at 2.42 to 2.50 for 1998. I think the announcement earlier this week regarding SEG is significant. He expects volumes to really pick up from July 1998 to January 1999. The 10K will also be ready in about 2 weeks.

Dave -
Who cares if there is a short term squeeze, forcing prices up? I would rather have a stable price increase due to a strong company. Besides, as long as there are at least 2.7 million short positions, it means there are atleast 2.7 million shares withstanding.
