State ownership of everything? Nationalizing the energy industry? Free medical care and education and all the other "European socialism things" like day care?

I am not an armchair politico, I ran for the state house of representatives for gods sake. Try it sometime. It is very hard and you have a front row seat to the underbelly of politics. I beat my opponent 2 to 1 in the primary and then the big oil money (plutocrats) came in and beat the living shit out of me by the time of the general. They knew I could not be bought, but my pub opponent was for sale. That same Republican legislature just gave away 5 billion of our money to the oil companies. A dozen pubs have been indicted and many convicted for bribery, but not one dem. They hired detectives to investigate my background and they even interviewed my ex wives. One out of state. I am fine with democratic socialism. But I have as much real life experience as you do. Probably more, because you apparently cannot see the danger of the plutocrats. I'll give you a hint, "Citizens United and the 2010 house race. The big money targets those vulnerable seats and then beat the shit out of nice dems like they were going to do to Ashly Judd. I watch Chris Hays every day as I think he has the ability to probe deeper intellectually than anyone else on MSNBC and there are a lot of smart folks on MSNBC. It is more like a university class than a newsroom. If you want to know my politics they are identical to Alex Wagner, Chris Hays and Rachel Maddow. If they seem different to you it is because I am failing in explaining myself.
