The government chose to ignore our border and immigration laws. Historic and potentially incurable damage has been done as a result. The government chose to accumulate incomprehensible debt. We will live with the threat of bankruptcy for at least a generation as a result. The government has prevented the development of domestic energy resources, from coal to nuclear to gas to oil. That has enriched our enemies, enfeebled our economy, endangered our security and encumbered our prosperity. The government has weakened our population with massive socialist programs, raiding the family budgets of those who pay for them and destroying the family responsibility of those who receive them. The government has strangled our farm production, with the intoxication of subsidy and the lunacy of food-based fuel. This will, in the first instance, make people go broke. It will, in the second instance, make people go hungry. The government has destroyed the benefit of education, hobbling what were once the world's best schools in favor of creating an activist- and union-driven industry of indoctrination. Students learn neither their culture nor their livelihood and are taught nothing of citizenship except resentment, rebellion and arrogant entitlement. The government has transformed free trade into a rape of our economy, subsidizing massive trade deficits and the consequent collapse of our currency. The result is a destruction of our industry – essential to both prosperity and security – and a situation in which foreigners with solid currencies are gobbling up American businesses and American land, making us sharecroppers and tenants in our own country. The government has given us Medicare and Medicaid and predatory liability laws and free medical care for illegal aliens and the horrible butchery they have together forced on our medical system. In less than a generation we have gutterized what many remember as the best medical system in the world. The government is kneeling before the altar of man-made global warming, forcing this cult of de-industrialization upon our lifestyles and our family budgets. Our freedom is diminished, our currency is devalued, our fuel is expensive, our food is scarce, our borders are meaningless, our security is weak, our future is mortgaged, our prospects are bleak. And the government did it all.

Charles Ziller Hagel, a.k.a. “ Zilla Thrilla,” the son of Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, appeared before Fairfax County Judge Thomas E. Gallahue during a brief criminal court appearance relating to the drug charge. Hagel was arrested on May 19, 2012, and charged with possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor charge, according to court records. The arrest came just months before Hagel’s father was nominated to replace former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta. Ziller was originally scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 8, 2012, but a continuance was granted. Three additional continuances were granted over the next several months as Hagel’s father faced a contentious nomination process on Capitol Hill before his confirmation in late February. Hagel’s case was postponed on Aug. 27, 2012; Dec. 3, 1012; and on March 6, 2012 before Hagel finally appeared in court with lawyer on Wednesday. Hagel, wearing a light blue dress shirt, sat next to his lawyer Nina Ginsberg until Judge Gallahue dismissed the charges in a proceeding that lasted mere seconds. The courtroom was packed with more than a dozen other lawyers and clients waiting to have their criminal cases heard. *Asked why multiple continuances had been granted in the case, Ginsberg told the Washington* Free Beacon that it “happens all the time.” When pushed for a specific reason, she declined to discuss the matter further.** Hagel declined to comment about the case when approached by a reporter after the proceeding. Hagel appears to be a fan of rap music and rapper Shawty Lo in particular, according to his Twitter profile, @Zilla_Thrilla. Rapper Lo, creator of the songs “Cut the Check” and “Dunn Dunn,” previously served prison time for trafficking cocaine, according to an interview with Vibe. Hagel travelled with his father to Israel in April as the drug charge pended. The two toured Jerusalem’s Yad Vashem Holocaust museum. President Obama Cedes Border To Drug Cartels ............................................................................................................. In capitulating to the drug cartels and appeasing the Mexican government the Obama Administration has ordered 900 National Guard troops to abandon their patrols against smugglers along the border as reported by Brian Bennett for the Los Angeles Times. In explaining the troop withdrawal to Congress last week Brian J. Lepore, a director at the U.S. Government and Accountability Office, said their presence on the southwest border "threatened to strain diplomatic relations with Mexico." *The Mexican drug cartels move $50 billion* in bulk product and bundled cash across the border each year, and have established supply lines, distribution networks and operational cells in hundreds of communties throughout the United States.** Although the Obama Administration insists that there is no spillover violence from rival drug cartels for control over smuggling routes the dead bodies on the north side of the border stubbornly belie the President's absurd claim. Former DEA supervisor Phil Jordan insists that the drug traffickers' most gruesome tactics including beheadings are occurring on American soil, and says three beheadings in the last year -- two in Arizona and one in Oklahoma -- "have cartel written all over them" as reported by KRGV: "'One is too many; two is too many. Three should send an alarm,' says Jordan." In October 2010 the U.S. Department of Homeland Security acknowledged that the narco insurgents from Mexico in fact were sending hitmen or "sicarios" into Arizona to locate and kill those who are stealing their product as reported by Jerry Seper for The Washington Times: "In a memo first sent in May but widely circulated since, the department said a group of '15, very well-equipped and armed' assassins complete with body armor had been sent into the state to identify, locate and kill the drug thieves, who are thought to be independent operators." That Homeland Security warning fell on deaf ears in the Obama Administration. The House Committee on Homeland Security held a hearing last May on security along the Mexico-U.S. border, and law enforcement officials from the border states testified the Obama Administration is deceiving the public by insisting there is no spillover violence from the drug cartels as reported by Gary Martin for the Houston Chronicle. For example, Steve McCraw, Texas Department of Public Safety director, "said 22 murders, 24 assaults, 15 shootings and five kidnappings in Texas were linked to Mexican cartels since 2010": "There has been a proliferation of organized crime in Texas." And it's only going from bad to worse said Zapata County, TX Sheriff, Sigi Gonzalez as reported by KGNS: "Things are getting more violent. The smugglers are getting more brazen. They're being given orders to confront us, so it's not more secure." Indeed, in December 2010 the Sinaloa cartel murdered U.S. border patrol agent Brian Terry in southern Arizona when he stumbled upon a trafficking operation, and to add insult to injury the guns were supplied to the narcos pursuant to the Obama Administration's gun walking operation known as Fast and Furious as reported by Richard A. Serrano for the Los Angeles Times. But don't let a dead federal agent get in the way of Obama's open borders folly as he trolls for Latino votes in an election year. Of course, if President Obama believes that Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California no longer are part of the United States -- effectively ceding the territory back to Mexico -- then he would be right that there is no spillover violence on the border. Given the treasonous abdication of duty by President Barack Obama to secure the nation, states increasingly are stepping into the breach to stop the narco terrorists at the border. For example, Texas has now deployed its own naval fleet to patrol the Rio Grande River as reported by Jason Whitely for WFAA: "the state is spending almost $3.5 million in tax money for six 34-foot gunboats, each which can operate in as little as two feet of water. The vessels are outfitted with automatic weapons and bulletproof shielding." Earlier this month the Texas Department of Public Safety commissioned the third of six such patrol boats in its new Tactical Marine Unit as reported by State Sen. Jeff Wentworth for My San Antonio. The drug smuggling and spillover violence has sent farm and ranch land values plummeting along some stretches of the Texas-Mexico border as reported by Logan Hawkes for Southwest Farm Press: "few buyers are willing to gamble on property plagued by serious border issues including drug cartel violence and an increasing influx of illegal immigrants streaming into the Valley to escape what some term the most violent region on earth." The White House decision to retreat from the southwest border is especially troubling given the increasing ties between Muslim terror groups and the Mexican drug cartels. Earlier this year Michael A. Braun, the former intelligence chief for the DEA, testified at a hearing before the House Foreign Affairs Committee that "collaboration between Latin American drug cartels and groups such as Iran's Quds Force and the Islamic terror group Hezbollah is growing 'far faster than most policymakers in Washington, D.C., choose to admit'" as reported by Guy Taylor for The Washington Times: "If we don't do something about it and really get serious about it, I think there's gonna be hell to pay at some date in the probably not too distant future,” said Braun. According to a former U.S. intelligence agent terror group Hezbollah has established itself in Mexico, and is providing explosives training to the drug cartels as reported by 10News: He told 10News the group receives cartel cash and protection in exchange for Hezbollah expertise. "From money laundering to firearms training and explosives training," the agent said. * * * Tunnels the cartels have built that cross from Mexico into the U.S. have grown increasingly sophisticated. It is a learned skill, the agent said points to Hezbollah's involvement. Last fall Iran -- a long-time sponsor of Hezbollah -- allegedly hoped to involve Los Zetas in a plot to assassinate Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to the United States but thankfully the solicited man was a DEA informant which resulted in the terror bust. At a recent House Foreign Affairs Committee multiple U.S. intelligence officials testified "that Iran is prepared to launch terrorist attacks inside the United States" as reported by Greg Miller for The Washington Post. The chaos on the border certainly does not seem to trouble Obama who would rather enjoy the perks of the Presidency -- golf rounds, indulgent vacations, lavish parties -- than address the the nation's security. The EPA mandated device is meant to reduce diesel emissions and is required to be placed on all newer model diesel vehicles. The device can burn off diesel toxins automatically or manually, but if neither of those happen during the “re-generating cycle,” warning lights pop on and the vehicle is eventually forced to shut down. “To my knowledge it’s never created a problem for us, but something different happened on this call,” DC Fire Deputy Chief John Donnelly told WUSA9, adding that it can be challenging to work within federal regulations. “We’re not in a position to fight the EPA regulations and we’re not even going to try,” Donnelly added. Donnelly said that the ambulance will be examined to see exactly what caused it to go into shutdown mode. WUSA9 reports the ambulance stopped before it could reach the hospital. We already know that the IRS has misused their power for political reasons....so are we to believe that our information collected from Google and Facebook could not possibly be misused for political purposes---for purposes of obtaining an advantage in winning an election?? Making this even more suspicious is the very close relationship that Obama and Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt of Google have. Schmidt is one of Obama's largest donors. Schmidt worked on Obama's campaign. And Obama's campaign team are now working for Google. Schmidt would have access to Americans regarding where they live, what their politics are, and all kinds of things. Have you ever noticed how if you do a search on Google for Thermodor appliances, for example, that suddenly all these ads will pop up over the right column of each page....regarding appliances? That's because they already datamine our behavior. We also know that Obama had a tremendous campaign operation regarding getting out the vote and obtaining donations.....using Facebook and Iphones. In fact, in 2011 his campaign received even more donations via Facebook adn IPhones from young people than before. A pro-life legal group, Alliance Defending Freedom, released audio today of a 2012 phone call between an IRS agent and the head of a Texas pregnancy counseling group. During the phone call, IRS agent Sherry Wan is heard lecturing Ania Joseph about how she can’t have a tax exemption and also push her religious beliefs— a bit of advice that would be quite interesting to every church in America. Via The Blaze, here’s part of the exchange. The group in question, Pro-Life Revolution, waited more than two years for its tax exemption: Wan lectured Joseph on the group’s mission and told the pro-life leader that she needs to “know [her] boundaries.” “You cannot force your religion or force your beliefs on somebody else,” Wan told Joseph in a nearly 10-minute phone conversation. “I just have a question, Sherry,” Joseph interjected. “Is handing a brochure to somebody forcing somebody to do something they don’t want to do?” Wan explained her position. “You convince them. But when you take a lot of action, [unintelligible] other people. For example, when you, you know, go to, you know, the abortion clinic, and you found them [unintelligible], we don’t want, you know, to come against them,” the agent said. “You can’t take all kinds of confrontation activities and also put something on a website and ask people to take action against the abortion clinic. I’m glad Joseph already has legal counsel, for when the government tries to go after her for unlawfully taping a conversation that makes them look bad. I’m pretty sure that’s a statute, right? Update: To clarify on the legality question, an Alliance Defending Freedom representative informs me, the recording is completely legal, “in Texas (her location), in Ohio (the IRS office location), and for federal purposes (contact with an IRS agent being a federal thing) recording of a call in this manner requires one-party consent.”
