Without reading any of the proposal, that looks like an excellent analysis. < i am not following the story except being an occasional and casual observer making some observations from experience, and note hkmex seem to have been hit by a confluence of happenings >

Meanwhile, and more importantly, the sun seems to have got something going on right smack dab in the middle of it. I don't recall seeing such a big black hole. The sunspot peak is now so perhaps that's preparatory to a decline in activity to a refreeze to Little Ice Age or worse conditions in 2020 as predicted by the amazing sooth-sayer way back in 2008, with cold to refrigerant winters which came to pass in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Summer now is not looking too good in the northern hemisphere.

Here's the odd looking blackness.
