"What you say is communism."

Socialism is an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy.[

"I am a Sen. Bernie Sanders type of a guy"

Not entirely. He's pro union.

"In socialism there are rules and regulations that free enterprise need to follow such as in Obamacare where insurance companies are mandated to use 85% of our premiums for the care of those insured."

That's just regulated capitalism.

socialized medicine...

The original meaning was confined to systems in which the government operates health care facilities and employs health care professionals. [10] [11] [12] [13] This narrower usage would apply to the British National Health Service hospital trusts and health systems that operate in other countries as diverse as Finland, Spain, Israel, and Cuba. The United States' Veterans Health Administration, and the medical departments of the US Army, Navy, and Air Force, would also fall under this narrow definition. When used in this way, the narrow definition permits a clear distinction from single payer health insurance systems, in which the government finances health care but is not involved in care delivery. No, what Rat is describing is democratic socialism. Not communism at all.

Where the people decide to have high taxes and a large government to ensure universal healthcare, free pre schools and education, a large safety net for the downtrodden, strong unions and a very large middle class:

like Denmark and many other European countries.

Our constitution allows for democratic socialism. And it is what I believe in.

In Socialism the politicians aren't for sale. You write like you're behind the moon. Obamacare has hundreds of loopholes written into it by the lobbyists. Your 85% rule doesn't apply to insurance companies who also are healthcare providers. Hence Blue Cross has been buying doctor practices all over the country.
You like putting lipstick on a pig? Fine, be an optimist. But your dogmatic stances are not a pretty sight. Bernie Sanders, the guy who keeps the F=fighter plane alive in Burlington? I miss Kucinich.
