Hi Serge:A valid point unfortunately after the event. I did however review my investment mistake and discovered the reason. I violated an important rule. Never buy an undervalued stock on declining price . CS had been in a fall mode since Aug 97 and showed no uptrend. Historically this was a warning which was unfortunately ignored by many including myself. In such cases, if one is still keen to buy the precaution demands a 'stop loss" a couple of points below the buy. Without a stop loss, one would wait till the 10day or 20 day ema crossed. No doubt you would pay more but thats the price for reduced risk. Its strange how greed makes one forget such simple rules.!
