A statement like this is simply a clear indication that the speaker does not comprehend that stupidity is usually proven by one's comments. "“Although I think the evidence that the climate is changing is now overwhelming," Such a comment is as informative as saying I think the evidence that the sun will rise in the East is overwhelming. It is May 30 and finally the climate in my yard has reached 80+ degrees. I predict here in CT that temperatures will rise for the next couple of months. I cannot predict there will tornadoes here in CT. There will be tomatoes however.
