from a distance my lawn looks pretty good, get up close and you can see all that green is moss. A lawn guy years ago said, you get no sun you can't have a grass lawn deal with it. So I don't have to cut very often but the leaves and the year round dropping of seeds, acorns, pollen thingies is a bitch. I can mow up all the leaves and the very next morning the lawn is completely covered again

I'm dealing with that type of lawn to. My suggestion is to roto-till it up and plant a bunch of shrubs.
