We sailed the Yankee Clipper when it was part of the Windjammer Fleet... this vessel is not a copy, it's the original and actual Yankee Clipper which was built in 1927 and belonged to the Vanderbilts... I actually stood at the helm for two hours sailing the vessel as we left Grenada just after midnight... it was a working cruise, it was absolute fun, we raised the sails when we weighed anchor, we did everything on board except swab the deck, lots of incredible fun and great times... there were no evening shows on board since it wasn't built or designed for that, so every evening the First Mate held classes on deck teaching us things like celestial navigation, reading the weather, reading the sea, and so on ... we loved it... I have many hours of incredible stories to tell you about that cruise, it was full of wonderful experiences, it was one of our favorites... we stayed in the Captain's Cabin...
