We need the next big thing but what is it going to be this time? Would it even help the labor market expansion temporarily like tech, housing bubbles,, middle east wars or Chindia did? Which sounds sexier green energy or infrastructure rebuild? Maybe we muddle through for a generation here, turn inward and more introspective rather than so consumption and materialistic based (Europeans overdid that too) but maybe that is a good thing?
