I think lots of dip buyers are now buying at the very worst time... this is what make my model so sweet... these signals occur when everyone is looking the other way...
I feel my ears burning! :(

I am one of those dastardly "dip buyers". I am into SLV and XLU, although with a reasonably small portion of my portfolio. I had two pieces of XLU and three pieces of SLV. I had been day trading a third piece of XLU over and over again, and doing quite well until the bottom dropped out on me. So...... I have three pieces of SLV, at $22.05, and three pieces of XLU, at $38.79.

If there is another significant drop in price in either one, I will pick up a fourth piece. I figure, especially with the XLU, I am somewhat protected since XLU gives a pretty good dividend of around 4%. That is why, as a somewhat conservative investor, I like to trade XLU. It's a win-win. If it goes down, I pick up some more and increase my dividend. If it goes up, I get the additional appreciation. What's not to like?! :)
