Brumar was trying to propose some studies that shows conservatives being the "nicer people", in fact quiet the opposite is true of any age. They were in fact some of the world's ugliest oppressors, the most easily convinced of their superiority & greatest usurpers of lands & other people's resources. While subsrcibing to a convenient tailor made ideology/theology of a "chosen people" approach to views of the Creator that denied the souls of others & characterized them as one form of demon or other while they were the "saved". This is your typical conservative, this is why they're finally taking the "big fall" today & fighting for their lives, you can feel their desperation, fighting , kicking but confronted with an age old philosophy that started to dawn long before little baby Jesus, an all inclusive cosmopolitan world of equals.
