"did you watch the video ? did you see all the scientific things the church did ?" Yes. I watched it. It was partisan. It was contrived. It did not mention all the bad and horrific times. It did not mention that people and their great works were controlled by an Absolutist system that systematically killed anyone who did not toe the mark and walk the line. I do not deny that great art happened in the Dark Ages. But they were not free. And they were great in spite of the Church. I don't think I need to post all the atrocities and all the ignorance in these centuries, do I? I think you know why we call them the DARK AGES--(with all respect to that boy on the video).
