The Mets stink. There is no way of getting around that. I'm at Yankee Stadium now (with my 2 younger sons amd my brother) and let me tell you the the Yankees are a much classier operation than the Mets on many fronts: 1. Water coolers are cold at the stadium; at Citifield they are warm. 2. Lots of can I help you signs and booths at Yankee Stadium; I see none at Citifield. Not that I need it; I know my way around both ball parks. But it is helpful to out of towners. 3. At Yankee stadium you can move down to better seats, even the most expensive ones if they are available by the middle innings. At Citifield, that is never possible - though I have done it many times since I'm a pro at it. 4. At Yankee stadium, you are not frisked as you enter the stadium and the lines move quickly. At Citifield, security treats each game as if another terrorist attack is imminent. 5. Yankee stadium is a more relaxed easy going atmosphere. 6. Lots of elevators at the Stadium as soon as you walk in taking you to your seats with little if any wait time. Citifield has much fewer elevators and they come sporadically. I've had hostesses tell me elevators are forthose who are disabled. At Yankee stadium, elevators are for all. 7. Workers at Citifield complain; At Yankee stadium, no worker complains. I'm a Met fan, but Mets are a bush league operation.
