It has been TOTALLY substantiated, beyond the slightest doubt. You don't see it because you don't want it to be true.

Anyone who looks at these data on a routine basis is aware of this fact. For the last ten accounting years, Medicare's fully absorbed admin costs have been substantially higher per patient than have private insurance. I'm not even sure where you're getting your faulty information, but it is bullshit.

Look, I can point you to work that has been done on this that is completely contradictory. Articles written assert completely opposite viewpoints, and predictably the authors are aligned right and left. The CBO, which should be an impartial player, comes down on the side of Medicare being cheaper...I say the subject doesn't deserve the debate...the issue of cost comes down to per capita expenses, and there we are the most expensive in the world, by a long shot. Evidence here and around the world tells us that systems dominated by private insurance are more expensive. This we know, because we can measure it.

But I don't want to litigate this with you...we've done to the point of nausea and we don't agree, so let's drop it.
