Tom--sorry its been so long to respond. I've spoken at length with members of Triteal staff and feel better about buying (monday) than I have in months. This current level will not hold and could be good for at least a double in a month. Also, good news on the government front...expect to see an announcement if all goes well shortly:)

It turns out TEAL had a $5 million contract for 2 1/2 years with a Japanese distributor. It was old news, but I missed it.

TriTeal Enters $5 Million Japanese Master Distribution Agreement
with Ryoyo


Carlsbad, CA -- March 18, 1996 -- TriTeal Corporation, a leading open systems
enterprise desktop and system software provider, today announced an agreement in
which Ryoyo Electro Corporation will have exclusive distribution rights to TriTeal
desktop and Internet/Intranet products throughout Japan. This master distribution
agreement is valued at over $5 million over the next 2 1/2 years.

Ryoyo is a leading information services company with 21 offices in Japan, and annual
revenues in excess of $1 billion. Ryoyo is also represented in Hong Kong, Singapore,
and San Jose (CA).

"Ryoyo's position as a leading trading company in the Japanese market enables them
to effectively sell and support our products to a broad range of distribution channels,"
said TriTeal CEO Jeff Witous. Ryoyo will also sell directly to large enterprise
organizations.

There is a substantial, growing market in Japan for a unified desktop solution that
includes integrated Internet and Intranet services. "We are seeing large Japanese
companies start investing in corporate-wide implementations of Internet and
client/server architecture," explained Yoshihito Sugiyama, general manager for the
Internet Business Development department. "TriTeal's product line delivers a
comprehensive answer to the customer's requirements." In order to capture this
burgeoning market, Ryoyo has already created a dedicated business unit for TriTeal
products which includes sales, marketing and support personnel.

TriTeal products include the TriTeal Enterprise Desktop (TED) and TEDSERVER(TM) is
the leading multi-platform implementation of the Common Desktop Environment
(CDE) specification. TED is CDE branded by X/Open Company Ltd. and includes
several integrated features such as the TEDVISION(TM) browser, TEDFAX(TM), and a
graphical workspace manager. TEDSERVER(TM) is implemented as a
high-performance, integrated personal and enterprise web server.

TED is now localized for the Japanese market; TED is available and supported
throughout Japan in Japanese, English, and other language versions.
