Every time leading predictors on any commodity say one thing expect the exact opposite.

My advice is to pick a dividend stock in the mid-range that is safe and comfortable.

Very much so on a drop and then head much higher on the long term. Oil has averaged 7%+/year since the 1970s and it's not different this time, as in Peak Cheap Oil being alive & well. My long term initial target, since 2006, is a minimum of $250.

I think the bottom this time will be in the low 60s, with a possible spec spike down as low as $50 based on the trend line.
