We need unions in gov't and big business, higher minimum wages but also have to compete globally and put less restrictions on the small businessman squeezed from every possible angle. So am I left or right of center?<g>

Screw talk about who is who and ganging up. I told you in very clear terms that in my college days, I was involved with the labor union leaders and even communists who were these labor leaders. These bastards exploited labor the same way capitalists did. And I find the labor unions not very different here in the US. I experienced that first hand here also when I was on a team of parents trying to establish a Charter school. The teachers, union executive committee members told us that they have no doubt that our schools would serve the interests of the students and parents equally well if not better. But they also said that they had to oppose it politically because of the edict of the state label and national level teachers' unions.
