Finally....I knew sooner or later the truth would come out as to why you hate this company.

I agree with you about the USRX deal with regards to what it did to 3Com's image. I worked at 3com for along time and trying to convince everyone that we weren't just an adapter company was not easy but was accomplished to a great degree by 1996.

When they bought USRX it put them back to square one. But I believe in 3Com's managment..they are SHARP and FOCUSED and they will turn this ship around......they've done it before. Maybe being too focused is why USRX was able to scam them which they did.

Remember 1989 anyone? This crisis will be peanuts to correct compared to the crisis 7 or 8 years ago when they were a $250 million company on the verge of collapsing.

Craig, >>I used to like COMS----until they bought USRX.
It's USRX I've got the problem with. They are total scam-artists.

Unfortunately COMS paid a fortune ($8 billion) for USRX and now I have to
despise the whole entity...

On this one I agree 100% with you. I suspect that Casey Cowell, former CEO misled 3COM by stuffing up the channels and reporting them as sales. This made USR look good before the merger. It is a shame. It is even more shame that Eric Benhamou did not see it. SHAME!

Craig, don't forget 3COM went down from $80+ to ~$40(or less) before they even made the announcement that they would merge with USRX...
