Hi Rand,
Looking at the 12-2-97 PR:

I can see that Hewlett's leech process is twice as efficient as Skyline's regarding gold.I can also see that both Skyline and Precious Metal's lab in Riverside show Hewlett's leech yielding + 5 T.oz. Gold/ton.But how do we know that the sample didn't have [say] 10 T.ozgold/ton?Which would make the Hewlett process only 50% efficent rather than 100% efficent.Did Maxam use control samples that they knew contained exactly 5.25[to skyline] and 5.1 [to the Riverside lab]?
I'm still confused as to what [troy ounces/ton magnetic fraction(PPB) means. The negative numbers for Osmium and Ruthenium also leave me scratching my head. I'd appreciate your thoughts on the above.

Rand, have you or anyone heard anything from Jay Taylor on Maxam?
