.......so what is the solution to this problem?.....raise taxes on the middle fifth of the income spectrum? ...........show me the Democrat or Republican who is advocating this............do you support raising taxes on the middle fifth of the income spectrum?..........yes or no No, of course not...the trend follows all the way up the income spread though...I mean we like to complain that the tax rates are high now, but the effective rate is far lower...that goes for corporate taxes, some of which pay high rates and some, surprisingly big and profitable ones, pay little to nothing. It's a mess... Al
