or to mask distribution in higher quality stocks....HP should be impacted by asia, for instance...
I also watched the CNBC ticker at lunch, a price would be followed almost immediately with one two points higher, a point-and-a half lower, one 3/4 higher, etc, seemed like something other than fair market pricing going on.

I wish I could have said it so well. That is why I have been concerned over the adv/dec line. In my tc2000 database I have over 1000 stocks, more weighted in techs and small-midcaps. My new lows have far outweigh new highs. The opppsite was true a few weeks ago. FWIW
I can't be bullish with so many stocks underperforming.But timing is everthing, and this month my timing stinks (so far)!
